Greeting first Lunar New Year arrivals

On the first day of Tet, Da Nang International Airport had the pleasure of welcoming our “xông đất” passengers - the first travelers to arrive at the airport in the new year. In Vietnamese tradition, the first person to enter a home or space on the Lunar New Year is believed to bring good luck and positive energy for the year ahead. 

To honor this special moment, our airport presented these passengers with festive gifts, including traditional Tet treats and lucky charms, marking the beginning of their journey with warmth and celebration.
