Strengthening international cooperation in aviation logistics

On February 26, 2025, Da Nang International Airport welcomed a delegation from Dubai National Air Travel Agency (DNATA), one of the world's leading aviation service providers. The delegation was led by Mr. Guillaume Crozier, Senior Vice President of Global Cargo Strategy & UAE Cargo at DNATA, and Mr. Matthew Davies, Vice President of Emerging Markets at DNATA, along with representatives from the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade.

The delegation was received by Mr. Le Hoai Nam, Deputy Director of Da Nang International Airport, along with representatives from key airport departments. The visit focused on reviewing airport infrastructure, exploring potential areas within the Free Trade Zone, and discussing cooperation in aviation logistics.

DNATA, based in Dubai (UAE), operates across five continents, offering services such as cargo transport, ground handling, travel, and in-flight catering. The company is also the first aviation service provider to receive IEnvA certification from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), highlighting its commitment to sustainable operations.

Da Nang International Airport – A Fast-Growing Aviation Logistics Hub
As a key airport in Central Vietnam, Da Nang International Airport is becoming more important in the region. With its rapid growth and increasing foreign investment, the airport is developing into a major hub for aviation logistics and transportation services.

DNATA’s visit was not only about strengthening trade and cargo transport but also about discussing the potential development of a Free Trade Zone at the airport.
