To embrace the electric atmosphere of the world’s biggest football season, Da Nang International Airport launched a series of interactive, football-themed activities to transform passenger waiting times into joyful, shared moments.

Transforming wait times into entertainment

Throughout the tournament, dedicated screening zones were set up across the terminal areas. This allowed football fans to keep up with live, thrilling matches and immerse themselves in the global sporting spirit while comfortably waiting for their flights.

Interactive games & limited-edition keepsakes

Our commercial areas were temporarily transformed into interactive sports zones featuring engaging tabletop games like foosball and Subsoccer. These activities successfully brought travelers of different nationalities together through the universal language of sport.

Participants also had the chance to take home a special memento: a limited-edition football version of our beloved mascot, Helpy. Designed exclusively for this festive season, this unique version of Helpy carries our message of joy, friendliness, and heartfelt hospitality.

A heartwarming welcome at baggage claim

The excitement extended all the way to our arrivals area. In a delightful surprise, football-themed gifts were placed directly onto the baggage carousel as a special welcome greeting from our city's aviation gateway. Seeing passengers smile as they picked up these small tokens after a long flight reminded us that simple, sincere gestures often create the most lasting impressions of a friendly and welcoming Da Nang.
