Hearts to the highlands

On May 30 and 31, 2025, Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT), in collaboration with the Central Airports Authority and Da Nang Immigration Department, carried out a heartfelt charity trip to Xop Commune, Dak Glei District, Kon Tum Province.

Seventy-five team members took part in this journey, bringing not only material support but also compassion, solidarity, and a shared sense of social responsibility.

What we brought
At local schools, the team:

• Installed 10 sets of stone benches for students and teachers to relax and study outdoors
• Built a playground with swings, slides, seesaws, and climbing frames
• Created a mini library with bookshelves, reading tables, carpets, and decorations
• Installed fans and lights in kindergartens and remote classrooms to improve learning conditions
• Set up 20 solar-powered streetlights along main roads and village corners to make night travel safer

Sharing with love
The team also delivered:

• 18 bicycles for students with great academic results
• 384 gift packs with school supplies like backpacks, notebooks, hats, shoes, pens, and more
• 82 food packages for families in need, including rice, salt, noodles, fish sauce, soy sauce, and dried fish.
• Over 2 tons of clean, used clothes, carefully sorted and given to local residents

The moments we’ll remember
What made the trip special were the small, quiet moments: seeing the children enjoy warm meals cooked by the team, hearing laughter as they watched an outdoor movie under the stars. These are the memories that stay with us.

Two days may not be long, but they were filled with care, smiles, and heartfelt connections. AHT would like to sincerely thank our partners and the kind teachers, students, and villagers of Xop for welcoming us. We believe that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference and this journey is just the beginning.
