Launching Action Month for Workplace Safety and Workers’ Month 2025

On April 29, 2025, Da Nang International Airport held a ceremony to launch the Action Month for Workplace Safety and Hygiene, together with Workers’ Month. This year’s theme is “Strengthening risk assessment and taking early action to ensure safety at work” and “Vietnamese workers leading the way into a new era.”
This meaningful event aims to raise awareness among all employees about the importance of workplace safety and encourage everyone to take responsibility in keeping their work environment safe. It also highlights the important role of leaders in protecting employees’ rights and improving working conditions. At the same time, the event honors workers who are active in learning new skills and contributing to the airport’s development.
The ceremony was also held in celebration of major national milestones such as: The 50th anniversary of Vietnam’s Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025); The 139th anniversary of International Workers’ Day (May 1, 1886 – May 1, 2025); The upcoming 14th National Party Congress. These occasions make the event even more meaningful, helping to spread important messages about safety, teamwork, and human-centered values.
In May, the airport will carry out many safety-related activities, such as:
- A contest for excellent safety staff
- A writing and photo contest about safety at work
- Awareness campaigns on safety rules and policies
- Free consultation on workers’ rights and safety benefits
- A fire drill and fire safety training at Terminal 1 car park
- Awards for teams and individuals with good performance
- Regular safety checks across departments
During the ceremony, some departments also shared their experiences in improving safety, reducing risks, and saving costs.
The airport’s leadership gave recognition and awards to individuals and teams who have made great efforts in workplace safety over the past year.
The event was warmly welcomed by many employees. To keep the momentum going, Da Nang International Airport encourages all staff to stay active in promoting safety, organizing training sessions, and sharing good practices.
Raising awareness helps prevent accidents and illnesses, and also builds a safer, more professional working environment — just as expected at a modern international airport. Da Nang International Airport is committed to supporting its workers and building a strong safety culture, aiming for “Safety – Quality – Efficiency” in all activities.
