DISCOVERING FREE WATER STATIONS AT DA NANG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

To enhance service quality and passenger experience, Da Nang International Airport has officially launched 8 free water stations on September 25, 2024, providing a convenient and safe solution for everyone. This achievement is the result of collaboration between Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) and DNP Holding Joint Stock Company, demonstrating the Airport's commitment to improving and enhancing service quality.

Specifically, water stations are installed at 8 locations in Terminal T1 (link: https://vietnamairport.vn/danangairport/tin-tuc/thong-tin-dich-vu/nuoc-uong-mien-phi), with 6 stations in the Departures security area and 2 stations in the Arrivals security area. Utilizing R.O (Reverse Osmosis) filtration technology combined with Ozone (O3) sterilization and ultraviolet (U.V) rays, these stations provide passengers with pure drinking water that meets the Ministry of Health's bottled water standards. Another notable feature of these water stations is the automatic filtration system with continuous water renewal, equipped with 3 dispensing chambers: 1 automatic chamber for bottle filling and 2 direct drinking fountains at different heights, accommodating various passenger needs including adults, children, and people with limited mobility who can all use them easily.

     The water purifiers employ advanced technology, ensuring water meets AOI standards, with post-filtration TDS index close to 0, indicating very low dissolved solids content, free from heavy metals, Chlorine, Fluorine, and other harmful impurities. The pH level reaches approximately 7.0, aligning with World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations for infant formula preparation, while preserving natural nutrients and flavor. This improvement brings benefits not only to passengers at Da Nang International Airport but also promotes clean water drinking habits, contributing to overall community health protection.
