TECHNICAL EXCHANGE AND EXPERIENCE SHARING BETWEEN DANANG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND NOI BAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ON DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND IT APPLICATION TO ENHANCE AIRPORT SERVICE QUALITY
In the context of continuous aviation industry development and demands for constant innovation and service quality improvement, with the determination of the Board of Management and Party Committee of Da Nang International Airport and Noi Bai International Airport in coordinating the implementation of IT application and digital transformation in airport operations, Noi Bai International Airport delegation, including leaders and engineers from Da Nang Terminal Operations Center and Noi Bai Environmental Technology Department, conducted practical discussions and work at Da Nang International Airport from August 8-11, 2024.
Within the program framework, both units discussed advanced technical solutions to optimize airport operations, including initiatives on centralized data management, security system improvements, and IT applications in service quality management.
Da Nang International Airport shared solutions for centralized security screening image management, artificial intelligence applications for dangerous items detection, and successful implementation of automated camera surveillance systems to predict passenger traffic, helping reduce congestion and enhance customer experience.
Noi Bai International Airport also introduced initiatives on domestic passenger authentication solutions, automated Aircraft Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS), and ERP applications for passenger terminal management and operations.
By sharing technical experiences and initiatives, Da Nang and Noi Bai aim to enhance service quality, contributing to building ACV's modern, safe, and sustainable image. Through this, both units identified their goal of achieving 4-star Airport rating according to Skytrax evaluation criteria.
