Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT) was established on July 9th, 2015 with the mission to take air transportation infrastructure of Da Nang to a new height, thus fostering vigorous economic growth of the city. Combining the strengths of its founding companies, which are leaders in the aviation, construction and financial investment industry in Vietnam, namely Thang Long Air Service Corporation (TASECO), Hanoi Construction Corporation JSC. The project includes 3 main sections: International terminal, overpass in front of the station and car parking area with a total investment of 3,504 billion VND. Capital sources for project implementation include equity from Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company and commercial loans from BIDV and Viettinbank. The international terminal category is built on a land area of 21,000m2 with a construction floor area of 48,000m2. The terminal has a linear shape similar to the existing terminal, designed into 2 separate departure and arrival levels, with 54 check-in counters, 22 immigration counters and 20 emmigration counters, 10 boarding gates , 2 islands to handle departure baggage and 4 conveyor belts to return luggage to arrival. The terminal also has a separate floor for commercial and non-aviation services.

Qatar Airways has announced it will launch direct flights to the central city of Da Nang on December 19. This month, we focused on giving back to the community. We hosted exciting airport tours for preschoolers from Ngoc Lan and Binh Minh kindergartens, sparking their curiosity and imagination. In a significant milestone, we became the first airport in Vietnam to introduce a nursing room, made possible by the support of the Irish Embassy, Alive & Thrive, and Rotary Vietnam. On April 10, Da Nang International Airport was completed, welcoming the first flight and then operating on a trial basis from April to September 2017.

In June 2022, with the aim of facilitating a smooth return for travelers visiting Da Nang and adhering to the immigration policies, AHT (Company Name) took proactive steps to propose and organize a free, rapid COVID-19 antigen testing for all passengers destined for their final destinations, as required to provide a negative COVID-19 test result.
