Da Nang International Terminal (Terminal T2) is committed to sustainable development, particularly in environmental protection. Recognizing the importance of preserving the environment, T2 Terminal continuously strives to a clean atmosphere by promoting green initiatives. The terminal has been significantly invested in greening both its interior and exterior landscapes. With the motto "even steel can bloom," T2 Terminal is adorned with vibrant flowers in its outdoor landscapes and lush greenery throughout the year.
This creates a fresh atmosphere for passengers as soon as they step into T2 Terminal and also provides a refreshing, uplifting feeling with the lush green colors and vibrant flowers surrounding the terminal. The airport's landscaping efforts not only enhance the aesthetics of the terminal but also contribute to numerous environmental benefits. The greenery helps purify the air, reduce noise, and regulate the indoor temperature.

Da Nang International Terminal is committed to environmental sustainability and has implemented numerous eco-friendly initiatives, including tree planting programs. Recognizing the importance of environmental protection, the airport has actively participated in efforts to restore the forest on Son Tra Peninsula. In December 2023 and March 2024, Da Nang International Terminal organized two tree planting campaigns on Son Tra Peninsula, planting a total of 410 trees. These initiatives aim to restore the peninsula's natural ecosystem and enhance biodiversity. The planted trees will contribute to air purification, soil conservation, and creating habitats for local wildlife.
The tree planting activities of Da Nang International Terminal demonstrate their dedication to environmental management and align with overall sustainable development goals. The airport's commitment to environmental responsibility is an inspiration for other organizations and individuals to contribute to the conservation of the planet's precious ecosystems.

DIT has implemented a comprehensive resource conservation program, including measures to reduce energy, water, and paper consumption. DIT has installed Skylight systems, which easily absorb and utilize natural sunlight, saving costs and avoiding waste compared to creating a new energy source to save energy, and upgrading to water-saving devices.
With the goal of building a green airport, DIT has invested in a modern waste management system. Through on-site waste sorting and cooperation with reputable partners, we have significantly reduced the amount of waste discharged into the environment, contributing to the protection of air and water. Our airport is not only a convenient place to travel but also a green, clean, and beautiful space, providing a wonderful experience for passengers.

Da Nang International Terminal has demonstrated a strong commitment to a green and clean planet by enthusiastically participating in the Earth Hour campaign. During this event, a multitude of decorative lights, bright signs, and other unnecessary lighting fixtures across the terminal buildings were simultaneously turned off.
